Cooperheat implements Sage ERP software

Cooperheat, a part of the USD 2.6 billion Stork Group and leading specialist technology service company, has implemented Sage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software across its Saudi Arabia and UAE operations.

The new software is aimed at helping Cooperheat gain better control of its operations and improve efficiency in the region.

Currently, Sage ERP is being used to manage financial, sales, purchasing and inventory in Saudi Arabia and UAE. In the future, Cooperheat plans to implement an ERP system throughout their Middle East and Far East operations. Algosaibi Information Systems (a Sage Enterprise Partner) implemented the solution, which is run on a single server and accessed via the Internet.

Ken Baglee, Location Manager of Cooperheat said, " We chose Sage because it best suited our functional requirements and offered us an upgrade path as we grow. We are essentially a service-based company offering onsite services to the petrochemical, power generation, oil refinery and water desalination sectors. Our next step is to implement Sage Project Accounting to manage ongoing projects at several customer sites."

Shishir Srivastava, Director of Sage Software Middle East said, "Cooperheat needed an ERP software with strong project accounting functionality and an ability to bill customers by project completion stage. They also needed solution that was web enabled so that they could access the solution from multiple locations in the region. Sage offered Cooperheat superior project accounting and web functionality.
