Bin Sulayem meets Singapore Consul General and tourism officials

The Director General of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem met with the Consul General of Singapore in the UAE, Mr. Dileep Nair at the DTCM Head Office on yesterday.

The Singaporean diplomat was accompanied by Mr. Alan Tan, Area Director, Middle East and Africa, Singapore Tourism Board. They discussed matters of mutual concern particularly in the exploration and exchange of ideas and collaboration of tourism opportunities.

They also discussed ways and means of enhancing the flow of tourists between Dubai and Singapore.

Mr. bin Sulayem highlighted Dubai's iconic development in recent times. The DTCM is continuing to promote Dubai and its projects worldwide, leveraging its position as the leading leisure tourism and trade destination of the world.

Backed by its innovative approach, commitment to quality and ambition to excel, Dubai has been successful in placing itself at the forefront of tourism development.

In the past decade, Dubai has stunned the world with its mind-boggling growth and its ambitious developments like the upcoming Burj Dubai, the Palm, Dubai Land etc.
