Attended by over 70 employees, customers, & partners from 21 countries, Swift Group's 2002 'Ethics & Leadership' AGM in Nairobi was a resounding success.
The Awards Night was presided over by His Excellency Mr. Clement Mwatsama - Kenya's Director of Tourism and was attended by well over 100 employees, customers, partners and dignitaries. "It was with great pleasure that I learnt of Swift Freight International's decision to hold its Annual General Meeting here, in Kenya. With offices on three continents and presence on all five, you could have gone anywhere" Said Mr. Mwatsama as the Guest of Honour at the ceremony. "As I stand before you today, I am mesmerised by the great strides that Swift Freight has made in mere 13 years..." he commented. The event also witnessed the unveiling of Swift Group's new mission statement and the awards for 'The Most Enterprising Network Member of The Swift Group' (Swift Freight International Nigeria Ltd.),
'The Most Outstanding Employee of The Swift Group' (Fazal Kareem - GM Swift Logistics & Shipping Thailand Co. Ltd.), 'The Swift Group Network Member with the Best Financial Controls' (Swift Freight International Uganda Ltd.).
