Safeway Airport road Amman Jordan celebrates launch

In celebrations patronized by His Excellency the Mayor of Amman, Eng. Nidal El Hadid, Safeway management performed the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a cocktail reception at the Sultan Center exclusive eatery, Jeans Grill.

"We would like to thank our customers for their endless patience and proudly announce that the wait was worthwhile. For the past year we have been endlessly working to provide Safeway customers with the best products and services available," announced Khasawneh.

"We have launched various different services at Airport Road and made sure to provide employees with the necessary training for each of their respective jobs," she added.

"Safeway is now complete with 22,000 square meters comprised of a bakery, fish section, hot food section, sushi bar, juice bar, supermarket, home center, a clothing section and a buffet or a la carte dining experience at Jeans Grill."

Safeway's facade has also been changed to reflect the new and improved store under the management of the Sultan Center.

"The full facade renovation was necessary to reflect the identity change and elevation of services at Safeway," said Khasawneh adding " It is imperative for us to reflect our new strategy towards providing customers with what they want the way they want it."

Celebrations went on for two days, with face painting, balloons, clowns and acrobats roaming the store entertaining kids and adults alike.
