South America and Asia energy specialists to advise on Energy City Qatar

Gulf Energy today announced the addition of Henri Philippe Reichstul, a South American energy expert, and Simon Tay, a Harvard Professor and Asian energy expert, to the International Advisory Board to the multi-billion dollar Energy City Qatar (ECQ) project.
Mr. Vahan Zanoyan, CEO and President of PFC Energy, and Board Member of Gulf Energy added, "Henri Reichstul, Simon Tay and their colleagues together make a formidable group of experts on energy and issues relevant to the energy sector globally. Their wise council is respected throughout the industry. Their exceptional reservoirs of global knowledge are a central resource in building Energy City Qatar which will be one of the most advanced energy business centres in the world that the region can be distinctly proud of."
Mr. Henri Philippe Reichstul is an accomplished economist and international consultant, has held various high level positions in South American business and the Brazilian government. These have included President of the Brazilian Economic and Social Planning Institute and the President of Petrobras, the major Brazilian oil and gas exploration and drilling company that leads the industry in deep sea drilling technology.
Mr. Simon Tay, a lawyer by profession and recent visiting professor at Harvard Law School and Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, now lectures and serves on numerous high-level advisory boards and think tanks in Singapore. Mr. Tay's influential work in international law and policy focuses on sustainable development, peace and governance, especially in Asia and ASEAN. Mr. Tay's expert panels and delegations have included work with China, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, ASEAN and the WTO. He has served as an independent and non elected member of the Singapore Parliament from 1997-2001 and also led public consultations on Singapore in the 21st century, its city concept plan for 2020, and on its Green Plan for 2012.
The appointment of Mr. Reichstul (Brazil) and Mr. Tay (Singapore) closely follow those of Mr. Combert's (France), Mr. Norvik's (Norway), and Mr. Richard H. Matzke (USA), all international experts drawn from different global sectors with an excellent spread of specialisations to support the development of ECQ.
