Awqaf department delegation visits DM

A delegation from the General Establishment of Awqaf and Minor Affairs visited the Administrative Development and Quality Department in Dubai Municipality recently.
Mohammed Al Mutawa, Head of Customer Care Section briefed the Awqaf delegation on the Suggestions and Complaints Scheme of the Administrative Development and Quality Department, which is being followed by the organizational units of the Municipality.
Maryam Bin Fahd, Head of Suggestion Unit, Manal Al Rais, Suggestions Co-ordinator and Mattar Al Falasi, Complaints Co-ordinator were also present on the occasion.
Al Mutawa said there are two types of suggestions received by the Municipality, the material suggestions that call for allocation of funds for expenditure and the other suggestions are moral, which requires to get customers' satisfaction and simplifying procedures. The scheme is aimed at internal customers or the employees as well as external customers.
The Awqaf delegation headed by Muna Bu Humaid, Head of Customer Care Unit inlcuded Kulaithim Al Shamsi, Head of Information Technology Unit, Khawla Al Ajmani, Cumtomer Service Official, Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Legislative Objectives Executive and Jassim Mohammed, Marketing and Media Executive.
It is worth mentioning that since the launch of the Suggestion scheme in 2000, the Municipality has received 12,097 suggestions. A total of 2,244 people have registered with the suggestion scheme online. So far 124 people have been honoured by the Municipality under the scheme and the civic body has saved more than Dhs56.48 million through these suggestions.
