Yousef Al-Essa elected vice chairman of JD Capital

Yousef Al-Essa, General Manager of Bahrain- based Addax Investment Bank has been elected Vice Chairman of Jordan Dubai Investment Private Shareholding Company (JD Capital).

JD Capital, capitalised at JD 210 million (US $300 million approximately) is the second largest company in Jordan in terms of subscribed capital and includes shareholders such as Dubai International Capital (DIC), Arab Bank, Oger Jordan, and a number of other prominent investors.

Commenting on his appointment, Yousef Al-Essa said,
"This is an exciting time to be in Jordan with the economy performing extremely well and the friendly business climate. Through my role as Vice-Chairman of JD Capital, I hope to add value by supporting the highly qualified management team we have assembled to ensure that the company realizes its full potential."
