EDF, $307m Egypt power sale

French giant EDF has sold its two power stations in Egypt to Tanjong Energy of Malaysia for $307m, reported Reuters. The gas-fired power stations have a combined output of 1,366 MW and account for 10% of Egypt's electricity production capacity.
