During her visit to the IT Centre at Dubai Ladies Club H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed calls on UAE women to enhance their proficiency in IT field

H.H.Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Ladies Club called on UAE women to enhance their IT proficiency which has become one of the major tools in today's modern life.

This was during a visit to the IT Centre at Dubai Ladies Club which has been established in line with the strategic partnership between Dubai Ladies Club (DLC) and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum IT Education Project (ITEP).

H.H. Sheikha Manal was accompanied by Mona Al Marri, DLC Vice President, Mona bin Killi, DLC Events Manager, and Aznita Aziz, DLC Operations Manager. Her Highness said that the UAE women have always proved their ability to handle responsibilities and added, "Today it is our duty to give her a chance to develop and improve her proficiency in information technology, which represents an important field and a fundamentally integral part of every-day life. This would contribute towards further strengthening her role in the society."

During the visit Her Highness was briefed on the training programmes and met the programme participants. She also spoke to the trainees about different issues and heard their feedback about the programme.

H.H. Sheikha Manal held discussions with the supervisors of the programme on how to expand the reach of the courses beyond the usually targeted segments and directed the Club Management to do their best to activate the training process.

Her Highness stressed the importance of this project that is considered one of the main basis of Dubai Ladies Club strategy to enhance women's skills in diverse fields.
