Ruwad Establishment announces its activities for 2006

Also announced was its timetable for the rest of 2006; which details an initiative designed to create investment opportunities that will attract people's abilities and skills towards the business sector. The primary objective is to generate greater economic progress, development, and growth for the Emirate as a whole.

His Excellency Sheikh Tariq Bin Faisal Al Qassimi, Chairman of the organization's Board of Directors gave a special thanks to Sheikh Doctor Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, for issuing the law that allowed for the establishment of this initiative last year. The objective of this initiative is to support leading projects and create the opportunity to give advice and direction to an attentive and responsible generation. It was agreed that any success gained from this venture will enable the establishment to invest more in achieving their objective. This includes participation in all economic projects and coordinating with the various Departments, Authorities and Governmental Organizations in an effort to ease and reduce the governmental procedures that deal with small and medium sized businesses, in addition to encouraging local investors to invest in leading projects.

His Highness Sheikh Tariq has guaranteed that the establishment's efforts to reach a stage where it can be considered as a success will be achieved. Emphasizing that the economic policies that have already been put in place, have so far helped to execute leading projects.

"Our program will include conducting meetings and interviews in order to introduce its activities, coordinating with special entities to evaluate the leading project sector and providing the needed information to establish a database about the organization'. Sheikh Tariq said.

"Furthermore, Ruwad Establishment will be located in the same building of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, reflecting the vision and ethics of this new initiative. The board will do its best to implement these programs for the project and they will be executed and supervised by myself". Sheikh Tariq concluded.
