UAE Internet users now have the convenience of paying through credit cards for iZone wireless hotspot usage

Customers can now conveniently surf the Internet through a fast and reliable wireless Internet connection for laptops/notebook computers and PDAs at numerous locations in addition to Starbucks Coffee outlets, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf outlets and City Centre Malls in the country.

Customers can use their credit cards to pay for Internet usage in various options. These include 1 hour access pass for AED 15, 3 hour access pass for AED 30 and 24 hours access pass for AED 70. The 12 hours Access Card, which is available for AED 120, will be valid for 60 days. The payment method has been secured with the necessary measures to offer protection to a prospective credit card user through a connection with a secure server.

"Credit Cards will make it even more convenient for users to pay for their Wi-Fi usage. This method is in addition to other payment options such as prepaid cards, post paid options and corporate subscriptions," says Abdulla Hashim, Assistant General Manager eCompany. "

"We are also developing several other convenient payment options for visitors and regular users by the end of the year as part of our strategy to make the service accessible to all kinds of users. One option which we will shortly introduce is a log in method whereby users can access Internet at iZones using their Wasel GSM mobile phone numbers thus facilitating additional convenience.

In addition, we are continuously increasing the number of iZone hotspot locations in order to meet the demand."
