UAE Health Minister inaugurates Jebel Ali Hospital

Senior health ministry officials, government dignitaries, VIP corporate guests, media, and the management and staff of the Jebel Ali Hospital joined the Minister at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Part of the Lifeline Medical Group, Jebel Ali Hospital is a new boutique hospital serving New Dubai communities including The Gardens, Emirates Hills and Dubai Marina.

Jebel Ali Hospital CEO Advet Bhambhani said: "We are delighted and privileged to be one of the first hospitals opened by His Excellency, the new Health Minister. Open 24 hours, Jebel Ali Hospital handles routine emergencies as well as more complex medical, surgical and trauma cases.

Its relaxing ambience is characterised by a welcoming reception area, elegant wall paintings, and tastefully finished rooms.

Fully operational for the last five months, the hospital already has a database of more than 4,000 registered patients, and the patient numbers are increasing daily.

Jebel Ali Hospital's medical services include general and laparoscopic surgery, family medicine, anesthesiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, psychiatry, physiotherapy and urology.

It also offers advanced dentistry, nutritional advice and dietetics, and is equipped with its own pharmacy, laboratory, radiology department, intensive care unit, and ambulance service.

Jebel Ali Hospital runs the first aid facilities of neighbouring Ibn Battuta shopping mall, where it also regularly conducts free health promotions as part of its community outreach programs.
