Sheikh Saud holds talks with Prince Michael

Ras Al Khaimah, March 4: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, today held talks with HRH Prince Michael of Kent who called on him at the Al Dhait Palace here.

Prince Michael lauded the ambitious
developmental agenda currently being implemented in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and noted that the new initiatives provided tremendous opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a host of issues involving business environment in the emirate, the issue of sustained economic development, trade and investments.

Welcoming Prince Michael, Sheikh Saud said that the emirate was committed to the establishment of an economic atmosphere that encouraged enterprise and new investments. He outlined the
developmental strategy of the emirate and said that it was implementing several landmark projects, especially in the tourism,
education and healthcare sectors.

Prince Michael also paid a visit to the Investment and Development Office (IDO) of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, and held discussions with Dr. Izzat Dajani, IDO's Chief Executive. During the meeting he
was appraised about RAK's ambitious development plans in the tourism and industry sectors which are on the anvil. He also witnessed a video
presentation on the development plans and investment opportunities available in RAK.

Prince Michael also visited RAK Police headquarters and held talks with Sheikh Talib bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director General of RAK Police Department.
