New-look phone directories launched by Etisalat Contact Centre

The covers for the 2006 directories have been given a facelift following a design competition open to all Etisalat staff.

The Corporation's Contact Centre, which manages the publication of the directories, opened up the design competition to staff members and received more than 175 submissions, before the three eventual winners were chosen. Maysoon Humaid won the design for Mobile Directory, Alia Al Bastaki won the design for Dubai White Pages, and Abdulla Rashed Al Mazrooei won for the design for Website and Telefax Directory.

Mohamed Bamakhrama, General Manager for The Contact Centre, said: "We are very excited about the huge response we received for the competition. The standard was extremely high, which made it very difficult to select the final winners. In the end we chose the designs we found most interesting."

The competition confirms Etisalat's commitment to involving all staff in its operations and utilizing the talents within the Corporation to meet its mission to offer customers the best services to the highest standards.

Bamakhrama added that in asking staff to design the covers, The Contact Centre had followed Etisalat's policy of supporting and capitalizing on the strength of its human resources.
