HP & Novell are partnering across the Enterprise

HP and Novell have announced a specially priced software bundle for customers deploying Novell's SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 on HP ProLiant and BladeSystem servers.

This software bundle also includes Service Pack 2. HP will offer the Enterprise Linux 8-License Value Pack from Novell which includes a single license to deploy SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server on eight (8) HP ProLiant and BladeSystem servers.

Novell has specifically designed this license for HP's customers to use on any combination of HP ProLiant and BladeSystem servers up to 4 CPU. Customers can deploy SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 for 1P, 2P, or 4P servers on any eight HP ProLiant and BladeSystem servers.

This offer provides an unprecedented level of flexibility and is the industry's first value bundle for Linux that is usable across an entire product line. The Enterprise Linux 8-License Value Pack from Novell can be purchased only from HP.
