AUST Network bags two awards at International Furniture Design Exhibition

For the third consecutive year, Ajman University of Science and Technology Network has gone away with two valuable awards from the International Furniture Design Exhibition (IFEX) recently held in Abu Dhabi.

Dr Siddiqa Abdul Shakoor, a lecturer of Interior Design in the Faculty of Engineering, said, "Our participation in the exhibition is part of the university's three-dimensional philosophy of Education, Information and Investment. This is the third time we've participated and earned an award at this exhibition. We showed a number of interior designs and furniture pieces, both modern and heritage."

The award was for the project designed by Aaya Mohammed Nidal and Banan Waleed Al Mahmasaani. We also won the award for the most outstanding student graduation project, by Fatima Al Aamri."

"There was a great response from the large number of exhibition visitors who lined up to view our work," concluded Abdul Shakoor.
