USRobotics awarded Type Approval Permit from UAE Lab

Type Approval Permit certification is offered to suppliers or vendors looking to market or sell their telecom equipment in the UAE, and is a certification that guarantees product compatibility with Etisalat's Network.

USRobotics' Wireless MAXg ADSL2+ Gateway (USR819108), the latest addition to the USRobotics' MAXg product family, was given the recognition from UAE Lab. The USR9108 combines the latest ADSL2+ technology with the company's exclusive MAXg wireless technology to offer complete home or small business wireless broadband networking solutions.

The Type Approval testing process involves a comprehensive range of tests in a controlled laboratory environment that check the safety, electrical and operational characteristics of the product aimed at protecting the end-user, suppliers, vendors and the telecom operator. The Type Approval Permit certification is a permanent certification, valid for the lifetime of the product, if no changes or upgrades occur to the equipment hardware or software.
