Anita Russell transferred directly from the InterContinental Hotels Group Melbourne Australia where she held the position of Manager of Talent Management for four InterContinental properties. This involved identifying hotel recruitment and retention strategies and implementing and driving organizational behavior as well as Human Resource Management.
Originally from the Gold Coast, Australia, Anita Russell brings to InterContinental Dubai her extensive experience in Human Resource Management and Talent Development as well as her expertise in specializing, in an interactive approach, as being the employer of choice in the Hospitality Industry.
Anita Russell began her Hospitality Human Resources career in 1993 as a Human Resources Co-ordinator on Daydream Island, Australia. She then transferred in 1996 to the Crowne Plaza, Surfers Paradise where she quickly progressed to Human Resources Manager posistion.
With over 12 years Human Resources experience, Anita Russell joins the InterContinental Dubai as Director of Human Resources where her focus is InterContinental Hotels Group being the number one employer of choice in Dubai by implementing and improving succession planning and talent development for all levels of employees.
Having world wide experience, Anita is sure set to increase employee motivation and retention and enhance individual employee development at InterContinental Dubai.
