Minister denys bird flu rumour

The Saudi Minster of Agriculture has declared the country free of bird flu in an attempt to quash rumours of an outbreak in the Kingdom, according to Gulf News. He said there was no basis for the rumours, adding the government has adopted a transparent approach and taken all precautionary measures aginst an outbreak of the virus.
