In its second year, the Arabia Awards received an unprecedented number of submissions, ensuring a broad scope of projects and a wide field of potential winners. The Arabia Awards will be presented to winners at the culmination of the Promax/BDA Arabia 2006 Conference, scheduled for March 14 and 15 at the Hyatt Regency in Dubai.
In announcing the Arabia Award finalists for 2006, Carmen Alzner, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Promax/BDA EMEA, the organization behind the awards, said: "This is a close-knit community that deserves its long-awaited moment in the sun. Last year's awards submissions were both surprising and inspiring in their creativity and innovation as well as in the scope of the work itself. The ceremony was one of the most enjoyable I've ever attended, characterized by an enthusiasm and camaraderie that is most refreshing, that really makes me look forward to this year's event."
