CA eyes further investments in the Arab countries following Executive Vice President Greg Corgan's regional tour

CA (NYSE:CA), one of the world's largest IT management software companies, today announced it will make further regional investments following a regional tour by CA's Executive Vice President (EVP) of Worldwide Sales, Gregory Corgan, which took place between February 28 and March 3, 2006.

During Corgan's tour he visited top customers, partners and government officials in the Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and Lebanon.

"While the Arab region continues to show strong economic growth resulting in greater spend on IT, there is a pressing need for corporations and government agencies to unify and simplify the management of their growing and more complex IT environment in a secure manner, ," said Corgan. "I have met with customers and partners in the region to share discussions on their IT needs and how CA's Enterprise IT Management (EITM) framework can help them achieve their business goals."

Greg Corgan brings over two decades of IT expertise to CA as he leads CA's global direct sales force and is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships. Before joining CA in 2003, Greg spent 24 years with IBM where he held numerous positions in software sales, marketing and technical support. He served as the general manager of Software, IBM North America from 1995 through 1997 and led sales, marketing and technical support for all IBM software products, direct and indirect business channels, and independent software organizations.

Highlights of Greg's visit included meetings with key customers, partners and senior government officials, some of which resulted in landmark agreements which will be publicly announced shortly.
