Beauty World Middle East announces Walk of Beauty

Beautyworld Middle East, the largest beauty show in the Middle East, has announced an exciting new event featuring at this year's show, which is set to inspire visitors from all around the region, the Walk of Beauty.

The Walk of Beauty, sponsored by Kadus, is set to showcase the foremost trends in creativity and style including 24 leading hairstylists from around the region, beauticians and makeup artists who will present their creations to live audiences throughout the 3 day event.

This dramatic fashion show, scheduled to be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from the 22 - 24 May 2006, will also feature glamorous catwalk models presenting the latest trends in the fashion industry in the Middle East. The stage setting will accommodate up to 600 visitors per show and there will be 11 shows staged daily.

In recent years the fashion industry has grown dramatically within the Middle East. Generally people are becoming more aware of their appearance, eating healthily and exercising. Affluence has also brought freedom of choice and ignited a fire-storm of shopping fanned by the local desire to have the latest trends. Whether it's designer labels, cosmetics or fragrances, all are part of an everyday repertoire of style accessories that transcend genders, nationalities and cultures.

These are all contributing factors to the success of Beautyworld Middle East, which has grown substantially each year. This year is the 11th edition of the show, which last year attracted over 550 exhibitors from 40 countries, is set to attract more than 750 exhibitors, a projected growth of 40% since last year, from 45 countries. The show has already signed up some major brands in the industry including Pretty Woman, Yves St. Laurent, Betty Barty, Kinetics, Jessica, Bella Lucce, Urban Rituals, Sybaritic, Balnea, Massor, Phytomer, Powerplate, Asahi, Bajoul, Promats, Kadus, E-Life, LPG, Babor, DMK, Omnilux, Maxcare, Diana of London, LIVE, Grosly, DMGM as well as national pavilions from several countries such as Germany, Turkey, France, Spain, Italy, UK, USA, Brazil, Thailand, Korea, Egypt, Singapore, Iran and many more.

The show will also be supported by trade associations including: Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the German Cosmetic, Perfumery and Detergent Association; UBI France, the Thai Trade Centre; the Brazilian Toiletry, Perfumery & Cosmetic Association; Istanbul Chemicals & Chemical products exporters; Korea Cosmetic Industry Cooperative, Indonesia National Agency for Export Development, Egypt Exporters Union and the Singapore Spa & Wellness Association.
