The latest printing solution donated by Xerox, comes at a time when EEG is expanding and is designed to support EEG in their workflow and document management needs.
'We are proud of our association with Xerox which has grown stronger over the years through thick and thin,' said Mrs Habiba Al Marashi, Chairperson, Emirates Environmental Group. 'Xerox has demonstrated a great sense of social responsibility towards issues such as the environment which has direct synergy with our mission and it is always encouraging to see the private sector taking up its responsibilities in this area.'
'Not only as an organization active in this field, but also as the world's first ISO 14001 certified environmental NGO we take environmental responsibilities very seriously. We are delighted to have this machine, which will help minimize printing and toxic cartridge wastes,' added Al Marashi.
'Our relationship with EEG has always been a close one as EEGs goals map closely with Xerox's attitude & approach towards social responsibility programs in the local community. We are delighted that we have been given the opportunity to play a role in supporting such an organization, which works tirelessly to protect the environment,'
said Ayman Mattar, Regional Marketing Manager, Xerox Middle East.
The Xerox solid ink technology used by the Xerox WorkCentre® C2424 is the most environmentally friendly way to put an image on paper. From its nearly waste-free printing process to its safe, toxin-fee solid ink sticks, it was made with the earth in mind. Resin-based solid ink sticks are completely safe & clean and contain no solvents. In effect, Xerox's solid ink imaging process generates 95% less waste during use than a typical colour laser printer.
