"Ground-breaking in nature, and featuring a truly inspirational range of the most innovative and advanced products and services from many of the international leaders, Install is the region's only exhibition for the industry - a unique showcase of audio visual installation and integration technologies and applications for both residential and commercial projects," explained Darren Brechin, Exhibitions Director, Entertainment & Installation Technology Group, IIR Exhibitions. "As a result of the huge success of the 2005 event, Install, which is an integral part of PALME (The Middle East's professional sound, light, music, audio visual & systems integration exhibition) has expanded dramatically, and will this year occupy over 40% of the event's total floor space. Over 95% of our 2005 exhibitors rebooked, the majority with expanded stands, and this is clear evidence of the effectiveness of the show."

Due to strong market demand, and in line with the specific requirements of the Middle East market, Install 2006 will feature, for the first time, a specially created Architectural Lighting and Interior Illumination Zone - this dedicated area will put the focus on permanent and temporary lighting installations for all types of buildings and events.

"Install has really captured the imagination of the industry," added Brechin. "Professionals involved in the business view it as an essential visit, as they can see the latest products and applications, update themselves on the latest technologies, source new and meet existing suppliers, and meet regional dealers, distributors plus the region's key installers and integrators - it also gives them an invaluable opportunity to network with their industry peers from the leading regional and international companies, many of which are acknowledged as global experts in their field."

A comprehensive, one-stop showcase of the very latest cutting edge technology and applications for both commercial and residential applications, Install will feature an exciting, all-encompassing mix of products that, combined, make for limitless possibilities.

Crestron, established for well over 30 years, and the world's leading manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems, will be unveiling a significant number of recent product innovations at the event. These include a new lighting control system for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) market, a fully expandable entry-level multi-room audio system, the new TPMC (Touch Panel Media Centre) series which seamlessly integrates touchpanel control with embedded PC functionality, as well as Crestron's solution for Multi Dwelling Units (MDU). This is the ideal opportunity for AV integrators working in the EMEA commercial and residential sector to sample the 'Crestron Experience'.

Vincent Philippo, Regional Director for Crestron Middle East is really looking forward to the show: "The market here is growing very fast and we have had a presence in the area for the last six years. You can find the complete range of Crestron products in installations throughout the region. And it's not just residential projects, but commercial too. That's why we are pleased to see the PALME show develop. With the new feature areas this year, the event reinforces the message that the Middle East is a very important area within EMEA. We are in constant demand for new projects and we are convinced that the Middle East market has a bright future."

Tannoy, with over 75 years experience, is one of the longest established audio companies in the world - their expertise in sound reproduction is world-renowned. Tannoy, which offers a comprehensive range of products for all aspects of the install business, will be displaying a wide selection of loudspeakers and amplifiers that cater for anything from clubs, corporate boardrooms, retail and leisure venues, public buildings and places of worship, through to large theatre usage and professional recording studios. Install will showcase the company's commitment to effective, reliable and efficient solutions wherever there is a requirement for exceptional and intelligible sound reproduction.

A world leader in professional markets, Barco, which offers display and visualisation solutions, is another exhibitor at Install 2006. Based upon in-depth market knowledge, the company designs and develops solutions for large-screen visualisation, display solutions for life-critical applications, and systems for visual inspection. Barco is currently active in the markets of medical imaging, defense & security, traffic management, avionics, media, events, digital cinema, presentation, simulation & virtual reality, edutainment, traffic & surveillance, utilities & process control, broadcasting and textiles.

Among the many cutting edge products that Barco will display is the iD Pro R600, a 6,000 ANSI lumen DLP projector. Due to its high brightness and high-resolution, it is the perfect solution for intensive use applications in bright environments such as hotels, museums, corporate imaging applications, boardrooms, and conference centres.

"Education will also once again play a key role at Install 2006, in the form of a dedicated master class and programme of seminars," added Brechin. "Presented by some of the industry's leading experts, these will cover a wide range of industry applications and technologies."

Featuring the industry's big names, including ic audio GmbH, Bosch Security Systems, Osram, E-Vision UK, Linn, Loewe, Arcam, Martin Architectural ME, Traxon Technologies, Phllips Vidiwall, beyer dynamic (GB) Ltd., Macina Interactive Media, Sennheiser and Martin Audio, Install 2006 will be the most significant event of its kind for Middle East professionals involved in the sector.

Organised by IIR Exhibitions Middle East, Install 2006 is part of PALME, the Middle East's premier professional sound, light, music, audio visual and systems integration exhibition, and takes place at Dubai International Exhibition Centre from April 23-25, 2006.
