7th Annual MultaQa Qatar Conference successfully concluded

The 7th annual MultaQa Qatar conference, organised by the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority and Global Reinsurance successfully ended. For the last two days a record number of over 500 senior delegates from more than 30 countries discussed the regional and global developments which impact the MENA (re)insurance markets.
Akshay Randeva, Director Strategic Development of the QFC Authority, added: "This year's MultaQa Qatar was another great success. A record number of senior executives and experts attended, representing a record number of countries. In addition, we facilitated more than 1'000 meetings that delegates arranged among each other. MultaQa has clearly developed into a platform were the industry not only debates strategic topics but also prepares and takes decisions."
During MultaQa Qatar 2013 speakers from the State of Qatar such as His Excellency Yousef Hussain Kamal, Minister of Finance and Economy, Abdulrahman Ahmad Al-Shaibi, Managing Director and Board Member of the QFC Authority, Eng. Essa Mohammed Ali Kaldari, CEO, Lusail Real Estate Development Company as well as CEOs, senior executives and risk managers from leading insurers, reinsurers, brokers and multinational corporations examined the key regional and global trends and drivers that affect the MENA (re)insurance industry.
