Etisalat Academy launches training programs for Dubai Municipality employees

Competency center at Etisalat Academy announced the launch of a number of courses and professional programs dedicated to the training of the Dubai Municipality employees.

The collaboration aims at training Dubai Municipality employees within different departments to improve their professional skills.

Mariam Mohammed, Competency Center Manager, Etisalat Academy said: 'These programs constitute a projection of the wide collaboration between Etisalat Academy and Dubai Municipality to train their employees. Competency Center also organizes a series of training programs during 2006, aiming to unleash the human resources skills to take over their responsibilities with high performance and professionalism.'

Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager, Etisalat Academy said:

'Etisalat Academy is always proud to provide the latest in the science of competency. This is part of all other activities that we provide, which would position the academy at the top in this field on the regional level.'

The training programs in 2006 are expected to be highly diversified, they will cover several topics that form the backbone of the practices that bring professional performance to a higher level; this includes competency, personal career questionnaires and test designing, leadership and motivation programs and general management skills improvement programs.

The training plan for March will include specialized programs in the Assessment & Development Centers - Implementation. It aims to help participants to broaden their knowledge with the latest principles in terms of competency centers and how to adapt and deploy the latest in the field of competency to achieve success.

The center also organizes a course entitled 'Assessors Skills', aiming to unveil the tools and special abilities assessors undertake to achieve successful evaluation.

The center, through its bundle of courses and specialized programs, provided in collaboration with the top consultants from the British SHL International Group and aiming to improve workforce professional skills in both government and private sectors.
