The future of Arab Media cooperation discussed by AUST Network

The Future of Arab Media Cooperation was discussed at a one day long seminar organized by Ajman University of Science and Technology Network's Faculty of Information, Communication and PR at Al Gerf Campus.

The seminar was held in cooperation with the Egyptian Consulate. Dr Ameen Baisooni, Chairman of Arab Media Permanent Committee, Arab League and the Chairman of Egypt Nile Sat Satellite addressed the invitees. A number of academic and media professionals participated in the seminar.

Dr Abdul A Ali Zayatti, Dean, Faculty of Information, Communication and PR said, " The faculty is keen to be in pace with the latest developments in the information and media areas."

"We wanted to be highly associated with the rapid new changes in the world of Media and information flow. And this can be achieved by liaise with the experts in the field who can leverage and support our objective, added Dr Zayatti.

"Our plan is to keep our students first hand informed and in line of the new trends on the media.We are looking forward to raise the awareness of our students of what is going a round them and how to effectively benefit of that." he said.

He said, the Faculty of Information and Communication has an active schedule in terms of seminars and lectures related to media and information.
