said Orzeske. "This appointment further underscores the increasingly strategic importance of this region to Honeywell."
Perkins joined HPS in 1987 and has held a variety of management positions, including General Management, Program and Project Management. Most recently, he was Managing Director of ZAO Honeywell in Russia. Perkins has a chemical engineering degree from the University of Okalahoma, USA.
Perkins succeeds Hussain Al-Atrakchi, who has taken up a new position as Director, Strategic Accounts and Business Partners for Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS).
Additionally, Bo Stanley was appointed as new HPS Manager Project Operations to drive local project execution and customer relationships, reporting to Thomas Mayer, HPS Operations Director, EMEA. Stanley was Manager of Operations Planning in Houston, Texas and has been with Honeywell since 2000.
"Middle East companies in the process industries have ever-changing automation and strategic needs," said Orzeske. "These appointments will allow Honeywell to better understand the needs of Middle East customers and to help them solve their technology challenges through applying Honeywell solutions," added Orzeske.
