The new BD10-plus million campus will occupy an area of 90,000sqm and will be built in phases starting with the central administration and medical teaching building and student accommodation which should be fully operational by October 2007. "Being situated ideally near the state-of-the-art King Hamad General Hospital, where the majority of clinical teaching will take place, will make the MUB one of the most advanced medical universities in the region."

"When completed the Health Oasis will provide the highest standard in healthcare services in the region," added Professor Kevin O'Malley, President- MUB.
