NTDE to distribute Saudi Arabian Radwa products in the UAE

This is the first time that Radwa's high-quality poultry brand will be available to consumers in the emirates.

"The Radwa brand is considered the 'Rolls Royce' of poultry in terms of quality, and we expect that Radwa will establish a niche for itself in the local market. Radwa Chicken Farms are very well maintained in Saudi Arabia and the chicken are only fed on corn to improve the meat quality," said Ali Odeh, Manager - Frozen & Catering Supplies Division, NTDE.

The wide range available further differentiates Radwa from competitors in the market. Currently, Radwa offers chicken burgers, nuggets, marinated chicken, satay, frankfurter, drumsticks, thighs, breast and ground and whole chicken.

"Moreover, being produced in Saudi Arabia, there is no question that these products are 100% halal. Consumption of whole chicken and chicken parts in the UAE reaches an average 15,000 tonnes daily - consumers in the UAE will soon recognise Radwa quality and make it their preferred brand," Odeh added.

Radwa's frozen poultry products, which are already exported to Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, will be distributed by NTDE's recently-established Frozen & Catering Supplies Division. Radwa products will be distributed locally mainly through HORECA (hotel, recreation and catering associations) and wholesale channels.

Set up in 2004, the NTDE Frozen & Catering Supplies Division presently has a customer base spread across the UAE, which includes wholesalers, catering companies and ship chandlers. The division also distributes directly to hotels and restaurants in the country. It is supported by NTDE's sophisticated logistics and warehousing facilities, which ensures appropriate storage conditions and adherence to specified delivery schedules.
