Aimed at providing CA's channel network with greater knowledge and understanding across CA solutions, the Partner Technical Enablement Program delivers unmatched pre-sales technical support across the region and encompasses components designed to enable CA's channel partners to get access to in-depth, pre-sales technical support and information available from CA.
Andrew Dutton, senior vice president and general manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), said, "Leading enterprises in the Arab countries are looking to unify and simplify IT management in a secure environment to take the complexity out of IT and become more efficient. The Partner Technical Enablement program aims to help our key partners gain the technical skills and know-how to help customers eliminate this complexity."
The Partner Technical Enablement Program comprises of different components - the partner pre-sales center, a technical specialty team based in the region, a partner solution center and technical enablement online tools.
* Partner Pre-sales Center - located in Beirut and serving the whole region, this center consists of dedicated specialists to support CA partners gain both technical information and provide consultation on complex IT environments in a simplified manner. The center also provides a lead generation system which provides CA's ESP partners with pre-screened qualified leads from top enterprises to enable them to gain further business opportunities.
* Partner Technical Specialty Team - comprised of technology specialists and aligned to CA's business units (Enterprise Systems Management, Business Service Optimisation, Security Management, Storage Management, ), these experts are based across the region and act as a valuable knowledge source to channel partners looking for in-depth insight into and support for various technology areas.
* Partner Solution Centers - serving as proof-of-concept labs and located in several hubs across the region, these centers enable CA partners to demonstrate CA solutions for prospective enterprise customers and provide a real-world simulation of the customer's IT environment using CA solutions before it's implemented at the customer site. Both customers and channel partner can gain insight from specialists via these live demonstrations.
* Technical Enablement website. This website is dedicated to providing additional resources to the program by supplying all the tools and information CA channel partners need to fully support customers. It provides updates with the latest technology news, workshops and upcoming web casts as well as a whole host of other CA tools.
