Roads and Transport Authority announces new appointments within its departments

The recent appointments are in line with the directions of Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and complement the Authority's efforts to give opportunities to skilled nationals to take up positions of leadership.

Roads and Transport Authority has announced the appointment of Dr. Aysha Al Busmait as Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications. Born in Sharjah, Dr. Aysha has a doctorate with honors in media from the University of Cairo in Egypt, and later graduated in Mass Communications from the Emirates University in Al Ain.

A self motivator, with excellent interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills and an 18- year experience in the field of media and public relations, makes Dr. Aysha a dynamic individual whose role has a direct impact on the success of the organization.

Engineer Adnan Al Hammadi who has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Hartford, has been appointed as Director of Construction, Dubai Metro Department. Al Hammadi has 17 years experience in maintenance and project management. He plays an active role in several communities and organisations, which has helped boost his experience and knowledge.

Salah Al Marzouki who has a higher diploma in Electronic Engineering from the Higher Colleges of Technology, has been appointed as Head of the ITS Section within the Traffic Department. Al Marzouki has extensive experience in the technicalities of traffic systems.

Ahlam Ali Ibrahim, who has a degree in Civil Engineering from the UAE University, has been appointed as Head of Road Maintenance Section, Maintenance Department, as she has vast experience in asphalting and ground work related to road projects.
