Beacon inaugurates all-girl school

Beacon Education today inaugurated the Al Mizhar American Academy School for Girls in Dubai. The school opened in September 2005 and offers the American curriculum. Beacon Education is financed by Taaleem, a private joint stock company established in Dubai, which plans to invest more than $272m over the next six to eight years in educational ventures across the region, according to a statement.
