McAfee Secure Web Gateway receives Network World's 'Best of the Tests' award

Secure Web Gateway's recognition by Network World is the latest in a series of awards won by McAfee messaging and web security appliances:

• In February, 2006, McAfee received a Checkmark PREMIUM Anti-Spam Certification for accurately detecting 97.0% of spam in independent testing performed by West Coast Labs.

• In November, 2005, McAfee Secure Messaging Gateway appliance was rated number one by West Coast Labs in anti-spam testing against CipherTrust's IronMail appliance.

• In October 2005, McAfee Secure Internet Gateway was awarded Network Testing Lab's top rating for overall gateway protection. It stopped 90% of spyware, 95% of spam, and 100% of viruses attempting to penetrate the network through web and email. McAfee Secure Internet provides comprehensive protection against both web and e-mail threats and is designed especially for small and medium sized businesses.

• In a September 2005 Network World review, McAfee Secure Web Gateway was a Clear Choice award recipient. The product received an exceptional score for blocking spyware and outperformed 16 other products.
