AUST Network organizes one day seminar at Fujairah campus

Ajman University of Science and Technology Network organized a one- day seminar for the Fujairah Educational Zone's chemistry teachers

Three AUST Network staff presented lectures in front of 57 senior school teachers belonging to the Fujairah and Sharjah Educational Zones.

Dr Saleh Awad, Dean of Education & Basic Sciences, said "The objective of organizing such a seminar is to help raise the teachers' awareness and to disseminate innovative ideas in teaching scientific subjects. As one of the pioneering educational institutions in the UAE, Ajman University of Science and Technology continuously raises the standards of the teaching.

These lectures will help the teachers to increase their knowledge and enable them to perform better. The coordination among different educational zones in the country will help raise the standards for both students and teachers, and will help produce the best-prepared graduates.

Dr Adel Wasfi of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr Mamdouh Hashim of the Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences, and Dr Hilmi Al Shaeer participated in the symposium.

The chemistry teachers expressed their appreciation to the university administration for its positive and proactive contribution.
