DCA arm get special certificate for Environment; Health and Safety

The Engineering Services Department at Dubai Civil Aviation, has received certificate of accreditation for the integrated management system in Environment, Health & Safety Management for its activities at Dubai International Airport.

EMS 14001 & OSHAS 18001 was presented to the Department by the M/s Moody International Group, a UK based multi-accredited certification body. By this DCA Engineering Department becomes the first Department in the Middle East to be certified in Airport Facility Management.

H.H Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of the Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai & Chairman Emirates Group received the certificate from Mr. Kerry Robert Richards, Director of Moody International Group.

Commenting upon receiving this certificate H.H said:

'We are happy to receive this International recognition, which goes inline with our mission of making Dubai International Airport the best in the world. I would like to thank all the staff in the Engineering Services Department for working hard in order to protect the environment in all their area of operations'
