A delegation consisting of faculty members from the Information and Communications University (ICU) in South Korea, and of representatives from the Korean Embassy in Jordan recently paid a visit to the Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT).
Because Korea is known to be a market leader in the fields of technology, this visit was aimed at creating a healthy exchange of ideas and educational experiences between both sides.

The delegation was headed by the President of ICU in Korea Professor Unna Huh, who was received by the President of PSUT Professor Hisham Ghassib, and members of the university's Council of Deans.

The delegation's visit to PSUT gave birth to an agreement that was signed between both sides. This agreement was aimed at fostering a healthy exchange of ideas, and experiences through a joint cooperation in the field of research, E-Learning, and academia between both PSUT and ICU. Through this agreement distinguished graduates from PSUT will also be granted scholarships to complete their graduate studies at ICU.

Commenting on the agreement, the President of ICU Professor Unna Huh expressed her admiration towards all what PSUT had to offer. She said

"Jordan makes great efforts to constantly improve the level of higher education that is offered to students throughout the Kingdom. I hope that this agreement will play a pivotal role in strengthening the relationship between both nations. PSUT has gained a positive reputation both locally and regionally, and this is only the result of the constant efforts made by the university to be inline with the latest technological advancements seen in the international market at large."
