That means that Emirates passengers travelling to the UK, France, Russia, Turkey, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Cyprus, Malta, Greece and, of course, Germany, on an Emirates FIFA package will receive a complimentary match ticket for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ finals.
These Emirates FIFA packages were previously only available to customers flying Emirates to Germany, Switzerland and Austria, but have now been extended to all European cities to satisfy customer demand.
This initiative is a part of Emirates ongoing commitment to its customers and was intrinsic to the airline's involvement as an Official Partner of the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, said:
'Emirates has consistently stated its position as a committed supporter of sport and sporting sponsorships as a way to reach our customers and to share their passion and excitement for sport.'
'What better way could we demonstrate this than by offering our passengers complimentary FIFA World Cup™ match tickets when they book packages to Europe with us? We are extremely happy to be able to extend this initiative to all of our European destinations and offer our passengers the opportunity to experience the FIFA World Cup excitement for themselves.'
