"We took the decision to open in Kuwait in order to be able to effectively service the local market,"
said Pat Luby, Managing Director, Clarendon Parker Middle East. "Even though our services are web-based, it is important to have an actual presence in the country in order to offer a first rate, personal service to our clients."
Established in Dubai in 1994, Clarendon Parker provides mid to senior level professional, technical and managerial personnel across a range of sectors including Sales and Marketing, Finance and Accounting, IT and Telecoms and Secretarial and Administration. It has more than 150,000 registered candidates and works with more than 3,500 client organisations.
The company uses a combination of state-of the-art technology and a top class business-to-business service provision, sourcing high-quality personnel of every nationality to leading multinational corporations and regional groups throughout the GCC.
"Organisations with a regional presence are now looking for a single-source supplier when it comes to human resource requirements," explained Luby. "Because we have a range of staffing solutions to choose from and because we have such a comprehensive presence across the GCC - with more offices to come - we can provide that single-source service."
The company's Kuwaiti partner, Action Group Holdings, has interests in construction, hospitality and real estate worldwide, as well as investments and joint ventures across a range of industries within Kuwait.
"Action Group Holdings is committed to the continued development of Kuwait, and as such we work only with companies that will bring a positive influence to the country. Clarendon Parker has a proven reputation for quality and professionalism, all the ingredients that we expect when looking for a new partner,"
said Hani Saeed Esbaitah, Deputy General Manager, Action Group Holdings.
"We intend to set new standards in the industry with Clarendon Parker Kuwait. The company's truly regional approach and diverse range of services means it can provide a unique offering in this developing market," he said.
The office will be managed by Angelika Dimitrijevic. Having spent most of her life in Kuwait, she has extensive experience of the country and its customs. She spent five years in the UK completing her further education before returning to Kuwait in 1998 to work for M.H. Al-Shaya Company as a graduate sales and promotions manager. Since then, she has worked in sales and business development roles until joining Clarendon Parker to lead the set-up team and build company awareness.
