The exhibition is featuring over 230 exhibitors from 19 countries who have converged to exhibit, meet, discuss and transact business with the burgeoning industry in the Middle East. The exhbitors are showcasing automobile spares, garage equipment, tyres, batteries and an array of motorcycles.
The UAE and Middle East automobile market is now moving on the fast track with car sales touching new heights across the region fueling a frenzied growth of suppliers for automobile spare parts, tyres, batteries and accessories. The increased number of vehicles on the roads requires services for repairs and maintenance.
Obaid Al Tayer stated, 'The exhibition is considered as a part of Automobiles market in the country and the automobile industry in the Middle East, the exhibition as well enhances Dubai's role in importing, exporting and re-exporting in the region.' He explained the market size in this sector is about 12 billion US dollars in the region.
The inauguration was attended by Abdurrahman G. Al Mutaiwee the Director General of DCCI, Sultan Majed Lootah the acting Director of Business Promotion Department at DCCI and Abdulrahman Falaknaz, President of International Expo Consults LLC. The exhibition is supported by DCCI.
Local companies, Chinese and Korean companies are participating in the exhibition, also companies from the Czech Republic, India, US, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Africa and Lebanon.
AAME 2006 is launched
Obaid Humaid Al Tayer the President of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry DCCI inaugurated the 11th edition of 'Automotive Aftermarket Middle East 2006' (AAME2006) trade show in halls number 5 and 6 at Dubai World Trade Center DWTC.
