Saudi allocates $8bn for welfare

Saudi Arabia has allocated $8bn from the 2004 budget surplus for a total of 1,052 welfare projects, including in the health and education sectors, reported Arab News. The Real Estate Development fund will receive $2.4bn to provide housing for Saudi nationals.
