Shell acquires Egypt concession

Shell Egypt has acquired a 50% interest in two exploration concessions operated by Centurion Energy International, the West El Manzala and West El Qantara concessions, following an agreement. Shell and Centurion will develop LNG from the Nile Delta sites if threshold quantities of gas are discovered. The agreement is subject to government approval.
