Ilyas Galadari, Chairman of the Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group commented,
"We have talked separately about the different elements of the City of Arabia but felt the time had come to bring it all together and show the public just how extensive this project is. It is world class in every sense with international contractors bringing their extensive experience to bear in every area from the infrastructure to the content of the Restless Planet theme park - I don't think anyone could fail to be impressed."
Constituting one of the leading private sector projects in the Middle East, City of Arabia has a number of striking features including the Mall of Arabia, the Restless Planet, 34 elite towers and the, about to be released, Wadi Walk. Meandering among the high-rise towers the 10-km Wadi Walk is a flowing waterway, designed to create a series of quiet urban spaces. Lining the canal, which will be wide enough to accommodate small electric powered boats, will be the Wadi Residences, consisting of low-rise pastel shaded blocks, with a shady promenade on either side and basement parking facilities.
The 5 storey residences will contain 1600 large, superbly appointed apartments, available as 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom options, including some duplex and triplex. At street level, the Wadi Walk will consist entirely of ethnic cafes, restaurants, convenience stores and boutiques; a cosmopolitan environment where residents can enjoy being outdoors all year round. The waterways and walk-ways will link this area to the Mall of Arabia. Phase 1 of the Wadi Walk will be available for sale at the exhibition together with the retail units. Gowealthy, a leading real estate marketing company in Dubai have been appointed as lead consultants for the Wadi Walk.
Mustafa Galadari, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, added, "The Wadi Walk has been designed to create a community that people can enjoy being a part of. The attractive boutique style shops, sophisticated restaurants and buzzing cafes, will foster a Mediterranean style ambience; whilst transport options which include the Automatic People Mover as well as electric powered boats on the Wadi, will allow residents easy access to the Mall and the Restless Planet."
