Ajman Municipality officials visit GIS Centre at DM

A delegation from Ajman Municipality recently visited the Geographic Information System (GIS) Centre at Dubai Municipality as part of the exchange of expertise between government departments.
The Ajman Municipality delegation, headed by Mohammed Bin Omair, Head of Survey Section, included Ahmed AbdulRazaq, Mohammed Saeed, Faisal BuAfra and Yasir Khaleel.
Mohammed Al Zaffin, Director of GIS Centre at Dubai Municipality received the delegation, which also went on a tour of the different sections of the Centre.
Later, a meeting was held between the officials of Dubai Municipality and the members of the delegation. In addition to Mohammed Al Zaffin, Abdullah Galadari, Head of GIS Data Processing Unit and Maryam Obaid Al Mehairi, Database Administrator also participated the meeting, where the delegation was briefed on the activities and facilities of the Centre.
Both the sides explored possible areas of cooperation in order to enhance performance and utilize the available resources. The Ajman Municipality delegation expressed their appreciation on the development of the GIS Centre, which uses the most advanced applications in the field of Geographic Information System.
