The visit came as a part of the delegation's visit to Dubai to attend a training programme organised and sponsored by the World Bank. The DSG played a vital role in managing and facilitating certain elements of the programme, in particular by familiarising the delegation with the systems in place at the Dubai Courts and organising a visit to the courts to see, first hand, how their systems operate.

During the visit to the DSG, the delegation was given a short presentation by Dr. Yasar Jarrar, Executive Dean of the School, on the success story of Dubai and its remarkable economic progress over the last 10 years. Dr. Yasar Jarrar also explained the role of the Dubai School of Government in helping to create public value in the region by enhancing public governance and contributing to the intellectual advancement of the study of government.

Members of the delegation were also briefed on the main areas of specialization available at Dubai School of Government that include: Leading research on public management and governance; High level executive education programs; Knowledge exchange forums on public policy and Strategic advisory services for regional governments.
