Located advantageously on the Emirates Road, AlSalam City is an integrated residential & commercial area, consisting of a number of residential districts. One of the largest and by far the most ambitious project the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain has ever embarked upon; the development has been designed to house over half a million residents with an area that will include vast parks, playgrounds and entertainment centers. The Project executed in 3 phases, will have its first phase scheduled for completion within the next three years.
'As with all of our ventures, Tameer seeks to be consistent in delivering world class projects by ensuring that each and every component of our developments are fashioned by the most excellent the industry has to offer.' said Ali Al Khudairi, CEO of Tameer Holding.
'Surbana and Diyar are amongst the leaders in their fields of design and planning and this is why we have come to an agreement with them to help realize the AlSalam city development.'
Surbana deliver consultancy services in city planning, township and residential development and are an offshoot of Singapore's Housing and Development Board. The firm was instrumental in the island's nation-building development and to date they have developed 26 townships across Singapore, housing more than 85 per cent of its nation's population. Meanwhile as one of the leading multidiscipline design companies in the region, Diyar Consultants have a varied assortment of commercial, residential and healthcare developments as well as large scale planning and urban design projects.
'AlSalam city is not an ordinary development, it is in fact one of the first of its kind in the region. Therefore, for a project of this scale and magnitude it is paramount that we at Tameer do not restrict ourselves on any aspect of its fruition: From the city's design to its marketing and even the final placing of the 'chocolate on the pillow', we want to ensure that AlSalam City has the best.' Added Al Khudairi.
