IAA Congress speakers take home a piece of Dubai

International speakers at the 40th IAA World Congress and Exhibition are all taking home a specially created silver memento designed and created in Dubai.

From Jose Maria Aznar, former prime minister of Spain, to Steve Forbes, President and CEO of Forbes Inc. and editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine, all 30 speakers at the ongoing congress will receive the memento in recognition of their contribution.

Designed and produced by the UAE-based Wunderman and Inca Tanvir advertising agencies, the three-ring sculpture is inscribed with the words: 'With each turn there is a change, with each turn there is a new perspective, a new challenge and a new solution."

The memento is designed to reflect 'Challenges of Change,' the theme of the 40th IAA World Congress and Exhibition.

Platinum sponsors of the 40th IAA World Congress and Exhibition include Gulf News, CNN, Dubai Television and Motivate Publishing, while Gold Sponsors are Dentsu and EMAAR. Silver sponsors include the Chouieri Group, MBC, BBC World and Al Ittihad, while Khaleej Times, Dubai Duty Free, AME Info, FedEx and Arab Media Group (AMG) and Al Wataniya have Bronze sponsorship status. The 40th IAA World Congress is held in association with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Dubai Media City.

While the Congress and Exhibition are taking place, the IAA will play host to an exhibition of public service advertising (PSA) campaigns from around the world under the banner of 'Great Ads for a Better Future.' The exhibition, which includes posters, print advertisements, TV spots and reports from companies, NGOs and international organizations, will be on display in the main concourse of the Dubai International Convention Centre and is open to the general public, free of charge.

The 40th IAA World Congress and Exhibition continues until Thursday, March 23, 2006.
