- PRESS RELEASE
MAF Hospitality, a Majid Al Futtaim Group company, announced the opening of Sezzam Dining its new Food and Beverage concept following its successful soft opening earlier this week in Dubai.
Sezzam Dining comprises of several multiple-choice dining venues, each with its own atmosphere and service style, creating a truly unique destination concept never before seen in the region.
Diners can choose between Steam, an Asian experience with a fresh, fun and modern twist serving authentic Asian cuisine; Bake, which specialises in oven-baked dishes prepared in wood-fired ovens providing a dramatic "fire and ice" experience given its spectacular views of the adjacent Ski Dubai; and Flame, the wildfire grill featuring a large charcoal grill, rotisserie and spit roast offering succulent steaks, kebabs, tandoor, roasts, grills, grilled and steamed fish, sausages and burgers, among others.
Diners can enjoy relaxed sit down or fast quickpick services at any of the three interactive kitchens in addition to take away option.
Michael Henssler, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, who manages Sezzam for MAF Hospitality, a veteran gourmet chef, describes Sezzam as "a new "global first" dining concept that offers a high quality food and beverage variety, served in a trendy, exciting and always surprising stand-alone brand concept with an unchallenged view of the ski slope."
MAF Hospitality developed the concept as part of a strategic plan to draw more people to Mall of the Emirates and become a critical point of differentiation between the mall and the existing, as well as future, competition.
"Mall of the Emirates is the Middle East's leading destination for leisure, entertainment and shopping - an integrated destination where families can have a great day out filled with fun, excitement and convenience. The dining component is a critical element in the success of any mall. "As such, Sezzam is positioned to be an important anchor tenant within Mall of the Emirates," explained Henssler.
Henssler also revealed that Sezzam's staff underwent an intensive training regimen patterned after Kempinski's renowned and exceptional service standards. He said, "We are very confident that diners will appreciate the noticeably 5 star quality and professional, courteous, fast pace of service at excellent value for money."
