Saudi opens $500m plant

Saudi Arabia has inaugurated the $500m Haradh-3 plant located 280 km southwest of Dhahran, which adds 300,000 bpd to the Kingdom's production capacity, reported Arab News. Saudi now has a capacity of 11.3m bpd, of which 1.5m barrels will be kept as spare production, according to Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Ali Al-Naimi.
