Labourers run riot on site

Construction on the Burj Dubai site was disrupted on Tuesday night after labourers went on a rampage smashing cars and office windows in a protest against unfair working conditions, reported Gulf News. A government official said the South Asian workers employed by Al Naboodah Laing O'Rourke caused about $950,000 worth of damage. The company says issues with the workers have been resolved.
